At Monsignor Mcclancy, Dress Down Days are a way for our students and faculty to dress comfortably and retire the uniform for a day while also contributing to a greater cause. Our first Dress Down Day of the 2023-2024 school year was on September 27th, 2023 and was a huge success. All of our students and faculty were able to dress the way they would on any regular day and express their style while also maintaining a professional and formal environment. During this Dress Down Day, students paid $4 to dress down and faculty paid $5. The money raised from Dress Down Day went to Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disorder research. The Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disorder is a disease that causes nerve damage in mainly the arms and the legs, despite the name suggesting otherwise. Students and faculty at Monsignor Mcclancy, next time there is a dress down I hope you will consider contributing to the causes and to our school!
