Basketball is beginning to get underway for McClancy as league games are starting in a few weeks! Last year, the Crusaders had a lot of success with the boy and girl teams. The freshman boys team dominated throughout the season with a 19-2 record and a City Championship. Most of the freshmen have made this season’s JV team, so we can expect another great year from them! The JV boys team also had a great deal of success by going 16-6 and making the semifinals. Lastly, the varsity boys went 10-14 last season, but they can definitely improve on their record since the team has gotten shaken up. On the girls’ side, the JV team had a remarkable season by going 15-5, finishing in 2nd place, and making the AA Finals.
We wish the basketball teams good luck this season as it can be a great year for the Crusaders!
