On February 20th, 2022, the Monsignor McClancy Freshman boys took on La Salle in their 1st round playoff matchup at Monsignor Farrell. McClancy exploded to start the game as they led 24-7 after the first quarter with Joel Barnaby leading the way (10 points). They expanded their lead to 47-18 at halftime with lockdown defense and great shooting by the entire team! The boys never slowed down as they dominated the second half to win 79-44. They were led by incredible performances from Joel Barnaby (18 points) and Caleb Ourigou (14 points, 7 blocks). Justin Halstead (9 points, 1 block), Justin Williams (8 points), and Aidan Fontanez (6 points) also played parts in the dominant win. It was a true team performance for the team as they seemed ready to go in their first ever playoff game. Come to McClancy on February 22 at 5:00 p.m. to watch their semi-finals matchup against Xavier!
