The Boys Varsity Soccer team closed out their regular season on a Thursday night, celebrating Senior Night with an intense matchup that ended in a 0-0 draw. Despite the scoreless result, the game was full of energy, determination, and emotion as the Crusaders faced off against Holy Cross.
From kickoff to the final whistle, both teams had chances and showed strong defensive performances. The Crusaders’ back line, led by junior captain Rory Smith, stayed strong against close calls, while goalkeeper Jakub Paszek came up with key saves to keep the game level. On the other end, the Crusaders created multiple scoring opportunities, with shots from Dylan Ramos narrowly missing.
The match showed the team’s chemistry, created by months of hard work and practice. The seniors John, Michael, Tenzin, Brian, Dylan, George, Sanjay, Blake, Chris, and Mark were honored after the game for their dedication for their team and lasting impact on younger players.
Although the scoreboard stayed 0-0, the night was a success in every other way.
