Can you believe it’s November already? Well neither can I, but with the holidays fast approaching I know many of us are just trying to catch up on our work and relax. This will be the first holiday break of the school year; are we all ready? If not, I’m here to help you with that!
As students I know many of us are stressed and probably feel like we are working overtime so here’s a checklist of things you can look over just to be prepared so there is nothing to worry about once break is here.
- Go through your Google classroom and make sure that you have everything done
- Double check with your teachers, especially if you feel like there are things missing but you don’t see anything. It never hurts to ask.
- Check your grades just in case you want some extra credit.
- Talk with your classmates to see if they have any ideas as to what you could need.
- Go through your folders and notebook. BE ORGANIZED!
Now for everyone who just wants school to disappear, here are some things you can do during break to relax or just fill your boredom!
- Watch a movie: I speak for many of us when I say it’s officially Twilight season so there is always a possibility of re-watching a good movie you love. Also, there are so many new movies coming out, maybe just grab the family or some friends and go see a movie.
- Reading: With this chill in the air getting under a cozy blanket and a good book might just be the move.
- Cleaning: With school being so hectic I have no doubt that some of us have a messy room so with the next couple days off we can fix that. Having a clean room will always lift spirits no matter what is going on.
- Hanging out with friends/family: I know it is so hard to find a day where all of the group chat is free! Thanksgiving break is a time where everyone will be free so try and meet up even if it’s for lunch.
- Last and probably most important SLEEP! I know so many of us just need to sleep, students and teachers alike.
Overall I hope you guys have an amazing break whether you are celebrating or not please enjoy!
