On April 25, the Varsity Softball McClancy girls celebrated Senior Day for the seniors’ last home game! The seniors that were celebrated at the ceremony are Ashley Destefano, Paige Staley, Alex Doak, Mia Staurpoulos, Kylie Grabler, Kamryn Walls, and Hailey Cannon. Each senior got to walk onto the field with their family during the pregame ceremony and take pictures with each other! It was a very special memory for each senior, as their contributions were celebrated by everyone in McClancy! After the ceremony, McClancy trailed 4-1 against a very aggressive TMLA squad, but roared back to tie the game at 4. From that point on, the girls dominated, winning the game 13-4 in 6 innings! They were led by Paige Staley (6 innings pitched, 2 run homer), Hailey Cannon (4 RBI), Alex Doak (2 hits, 1 RBI), and Mia Staurpoulos (1 RBI). Overall, it was a very special day for our seniors, as they managed to put the icing on the cake with a dominant win!
