The night of May 15th marked a special moment for the Class of 2025. It was McClancy’s annual Junior Ring Ceremony in which students are presented with their momentous class rings, symbolizing their journey into their last year of high school.
These rings act as an enduring reminder of the students’ academic successes and special moments spent with peers. Fundamentally, McClancy’s Junior rings stand for the achievement of years of hard work and personal development. The ring’s circular form is meaningful in itself, as it represents the cyclical journey from student to graduate and the readiness to start a new chapter in life. Each ring, adorned with the institution’s crest, colors, and symbol, is a special piece that connects the student to their alma mater forever. Because of the personalization, each ring shows the particular path of the graduate and tells their own unique story.
As McClancy juniors ourselves, the past three years have flown by in the blink of an eye. In moments like these, we are humbly reminded of the incredibly close-knit community that is our school and of all the diligence we’ve exhibited throughout our years, continuing into our senior year. Cheers to the Class of 2025!
